newborn brittany
Yep, that’s me, the baby in the middle. The thing that everyone is not so sure about. Circa 1985.

Hi guys and gals! Thank you so much for visiting, it really means a lot to me.

If you don’t know me, I’m Brittany and this here is a blog about my self-proclaimed mama extraordinaire adventures. Hahaha, well that’s not quite right but honestly what you’ll find here are ramblings about my hot mess of a life that I magically make work and truth be told actually kind of love, a lot.

Sort of a disclaimer here, I realize there are probably one million and one blogs out there with similar content. I assure you, though, this is really is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and it feels really good to be doing it. I hope you’ll find something useful and possibly unique here. Better yet, I hope you’ll find yourself relating or dare I say laughing? If it’s not for you, that’s okay there are so many other blogs out there so maybe you’ll find the right one for you or better yet, go on and write your own!

Happily continuing on, I have my very own beautiful toddler, Orla (a.k.a. threenager turned soon-to-be teenager), mama to a lunatic/sweet-as-sugar cat named Coraline and wifey of a hot-tempered/loving husband/musician/business owner, Garret (I don’t think I put enough slashes in there).

I’m one of 6 kids and the youngest of the 6 at that. I was born and raised in the Midwest and daughter to two amazingly loving and supportive parents. As you can see in the photograph above I’m obviously the favorite amongst my siblings and grandmother and definitely was not the problem child.

That’s the short of it! I’ll really be sharing tons (that’s a Midwest adjective) of stuff about my personal life here. I really do hope that we can laugh together, learn together, cry together and grow together…  I know we’ll get to know each other pretty well. If you’d like to learn more about my background in art check out my blog page, Art & Stuff.
